Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Lori was born and raised in South Florida. She received her undergraduate education at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and completed her dental degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After completing dental school, Dr. Porras continued her training with a General Practice Residency at West Jersey Hospital in Camden, New Jersey where she obtained advanced training in all facets of dentistry. Dr. Porras then worked as a general dentist for several years and found that her passion was treating pediatric patients, which led her to complete a pediatric dental residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Porras is committed to providing quality care to her young patients while making their visit fun and positive. She strives to transform young fearful patients into happy ones excited about their oral health - and the knowledge that they will not avoid dental treatment in the future but seek it out.

In her spare time, Dr. Lori enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and being a foodie. She has a son (Liam), daughter (Livi) and a fur baby (Rey).
